A dyslexia assessment for an adult often brings a great sense of relief.
Perhaps you have always found certain things hard, and want to finally gain answers.
Perhaps you have found ways to overcome your difficulties, but feel it would be helpful to get an understanding of other strategies you might develop, or adjustments that could be put in place at work.
An assessment can be used to support an adult in their studies (at any level) or within the workplace, and the report is tailored to meet your specific needs.
With an Assessor Practising Certificate, an assessment completed by me can be used to support adjustments such as extra time in exams, as well as DSA (Disabled Students Allowance)
at university.
Some workplaces will fund the cost of the assessment, while other adults will cover the cost themselves. I am passionate about making assessments as accessible as possible and currently offer adult assessments at a fee of £400.
I understand that considering an assessment can often feel like a daunting experience, and you may feel self-conscious about talking about your difficulties - I am experienced in working with adults and offer an understanding and patient approach, helping you feel as relaxed as possible.
